ok there is more of those things:
sorry to post all those minor bugs, but as they sum up some workflows do not feel fluent…
using a custom named cplane in top view, using floating layer palette to manage the cplanes,
Changing c-plane during a command call is not consistent:
→ changing from custom cplane to default top cancels a command.
the other direction
→ changing from default top view to custom cplane does not cancel
in the example above, i have some objects in World top i would like to get to custom cplan…

well i hope the screenshot explains most:
_fillet 35
klick at the violet positions (x)
the fillet should be impossible due to the 31mm segment-length
but the fillet is done at the next corner ;-(
Especially if the angle at the next corner is close to 180 degree this might be quite annoying.
Rh7 - please fix (no fillet)
Rh8 - wish:
(simple)
shortly highlight the segment that is …
Typing some arbitrary into the mac macroeditor,
pressing command / apple A,
delete,
some more text, pressing command / apple Z (undo),
some more text
using the cross to clear the content of the editor…
doing this a few times the undo-recording is broken.
see screencapture.

I have a small wish for the macro-editor:
it would be really cool to save input from the editor and name it.
and have a small flyout / list …
No Idea how it happens, nor how to reproduce:
but it seams to be possilbe (Mac, Version 7 (7.11.21271.01002, 2021-09-28) that the sweep1 dialog starts with no Frame Style and no Preview.
as soon as i klick on one of the Frame-style options i get a result.
but the command should start with a default frame style, or the last frame style

opening a quite complex Rh6 file, saved small on the Windows side,
opening on Mac - the Version Warning Dialog stays white / blank.
AutoSave Disabled
Your file xxx.3dm is a Rhino V6 file.
not showing
maybe calculating the meshes somehow interferes with the dialog.
workaround is quite simple:
just press enter while Rhino has focus.

@dan
does it make sense to collect all this stuff in separate posts ?
any other approach to do this fine-tuning things, micro / minor / paper-cut bug reporting (that do not crash rhino, nor make results impossible - but make workflows unfluent) ?
edit - one more
ok … @dan i have another one…
while within extend command, select some objects by layer - the objects stay yellow / highlighted but not selected.
how i could reproduce:
draw some stuff on sevreral layers
_extend
select a closed curve as boundary
extend a few curves
select objects by layer via the right mouse button
cancel the command
those objects stay hi lighted … (but nothing selected, see property-window)

Thanks for highlighting these.
Yes, separate topics is better for us than one large topic. It works best with how we log, fix, test, and track bugs.

Hello! A question: if Rhino’s UI is ported to ETO as Nathan mentioned here:
…does this mean Mac and Windows versions UI will automatically become more similar over time?
Just asking out if interest.
Thanks!

In the very least it means getting rid of two codebases to maintain. No doubt there will still be some platform specific styling, but the future most likely shows more and more similarities.
that was pretty debated quite a while ago, people asking for it to be as similar as possible…
also happy cake day
