Black Screen On Viewport

There is a problem with the viewports in Rhino 6. Everything was fine but then once I opened a new file, the screen turned black and commands stopped working. I updated rhino, NVIDIA and Intel drivers. Please help t.t

Hello- what happens if you type 4View and Enter?

-Pascal

type “NewViewport” in Command line

or like Pascal said, direct type 4View

Nope, doesn’t work

Doesn’t work… is there a way to pin up floating viewport?

try to type “ToggleFloatingViewport”

says “Unable to change floating state for current viewport”

I have try to delete the Viewport like yours

then type “4View”

or use “ToggleFoatingViewport” to pin up.
It works for my Rhino.

Hello - what happens on 4View, anything?

-Pascal

nothing happens with both commands

yep doesn’t work

doesn’t work. nothing appears

Hello - if you have not, please re-boot the machine, and then start up a session of Rhino - does it open correctly?

-Pascal

Nope, doesn’t work. This problem is here for couple days already…

go to windows> add or remove programs then find rhino, left click once on rhino, the hit the modify button… then hit repair and let it go through the repair function. then restart your machine and try it again.

better?

I am having this same exact issue years later on Rhino 7… and this solution did not work either. Ive unistalled and reinstalled multiple times and restarted my laptop multiple times and nothing has worked.

Hi Luke, Please open Rhino and Run the SystemInfo in the Rhino command line and post your results here.

Lets disable the 3rd party plugins (via File>Properties>Plugins) then restart Rhino.

Do you have these setting? with the laptop unplugged it might be rolling back to the Intel GPU

Disabling the lumion plug in did not fix the issue. I unchecked the box for the plug in, closed rhino out, and opened it back up and it still looks the same
