Just getting into actually sitting down & doing some tutorials, and picked this (30-year-old) sketch for some subject matter… and it occurred to me that I honestly don’t know what kind of modeling would work best for this type of stuff. I think it would be fun to try and print the components at some point, but I don’t know if that’s a factory in choosing how to model these.
The benefit is simply dragging and dropping modeling boxes into the shape of your wish. Great for quick sketching 3D shapes in rhino. You don’t need hassle with complex surfacing, continuity…
