VisualARQ 3.8 - Release Candidate 1 is now available for download.

:information_source:  NOTE: This is a release candidate (RC), meaning it is not the final version but has undergone internal testing and is considered stable enough for end-user testing. VisualARQ 3.8 is scheduled for official release on :spiral_calendar: Wednesday, February 4th, 2026

This release fixes most of the problems and crashes reported by users. Please report any problems or suggestionas here or email us at visualarq@asuni.com.

Here is the list of changes:

Improvements (2)
  • DWG Export:
    • 15143: Preserve dimension entities when exporting to DWG
  • Performance:
    • 14397: Improve the performance of wall-slabs intersections
Fixed Errors (29)
  • API: Script:
    • 14911: Error in the funcion AddRoofFromCurve. Roof Type parameter is missing
  • Clashes:
    • 15305: Duplicated intersection issues
    • 14441: Clashes report doesn’t work with blocks
  • DWG Export:
    • 15429: Missing geometry in the exported DWG
    • 15415: Detail View rotates after being exported to DWG
    • 15368: Rhino crashes when exporting multiple layouts to DWG
    • 15028: Text dimensions in the model space are exported in wrong size to DWG
    • 13924: Dimensions are exploded in AutoCAD when I export in dwg format
  • Grasshopper: Components:
    • 15309: Fail to explode a VisualARQ Object Style Component
  • Help:
    • 15337: Wrong syntax description in VisualARQ Help to display custom parameters in tag styles
  • Interferences:
    • 15398: Update VisualARQ object automatically when an object used as interference is deleted
    • 15384: Rhino freezes when deleting a wall
  • Object: Curtain Wall:
    • 15340: Curtain wall is not extended properly
    • 15294: Curtain Wall’s center curve is not taking the Alignment Offset into account
    • 15239: Door doesn’t cut properly a curtain wall
    • 14964: Door doesn’t cut properly a curtain wall
    • 14575: Door in a curtain wall doesn’t generate well the opening
    • 14503: Curtain wall error when it is coincident with a window and a wall
    • 14498: Door doesn’t cut properly a curtain wall
    • 12602: Door doesn’t cut properly the curtain wall where it is inserted
  • Object: Guide:
    • 15405: Gumball in Guide Point is not Aligned with Guide even in Gumball Object Mode
  • Object: Roof:
    • 15363: After opening old files some roofs got proyected to zero elevation
    • 15333: Gable roof breakes when another one intersects with it
  • Object: Wall:
    • 12676: vaFillet is not side sensitive to these walls
    • 12674: vaFillet changes the wall alignment
  • Object: Window:
    • 15380: Window doesn’t detect a roof
  • Performance:
    • 15237: Rhino freezes when updating some walls
    • 14944: Moving a window is slow in this file
    • 11876: It takes a long time to delete a column
