Ive been struggling with this bug for weeks now, originally thinking it was a one off…but it’s been recurring on all my files. Text just randomly disappears in layout, and sometimes a restart won’t fix it. It’s as if it was erased but I did not touch it. Confirmed on various files so I know it’s a bug and not me randomly erasing layers, etc. Any solutions?

Hi Peter - does it make any difference if you disable Octane and VRay in Options > Plug-ins page, and then restart Rhino?

Just disabled both and restarted rhino. The text is still missing in layout.
So is this a bug that can be resolved? Any suggested steps? Since I do use this for work and in my industry, we need fast turnaround, I need to ensure this kind of thing gets resolved. Would like your ideas to fix. Thank you.
You might want to give SR15 a try
I also noticed keyshot in the list which would be worth attempting to disable (and restart) to see if that makes a difference.

Disabled vray, octane, and keyshot. Restarted. Text still missing in layout.
Im confused. I tried moving and exploding some of the elements as you did, but does nothing. Text doesn’t show up.
I know… It makes no sense. My title block got fubared too somehow (even after restart).
Is your disappearing text in blocks? Mine is. It’s also linework that disappears here too.
