Text suddenly disappears (too tiny to see)

I can’t upload my file (even to the private server thing) per my production, but Ihave a problem on both my computers wherein the text in my document suddenly disappears (or more accurately becomes so tiny you can’t see it.Undoing/MultiUndoing does no help.

I lose the work I’ve done up to that point because I can’t find a way to get the text back correctly.

Thoughts please?

You are not giving us much to go on, here.
Is this something that you can systematically repeat?

No it’s just seemingly random. I guess next time it happens I will screengrab what it says happened in the UndoMulti window so I can show you what it says happened.

And I was hoping maybe someone else has had this happen, and would be more able to share their file.

Can you determine (if you can actually find and select one of these too-tiny texts and see what the properties window says about it) if it’s the text height or the model space scale that is changing? It’s hard to address these things now that a text object has a dimension style applied, there are now about a zillion places where stuff can be modified…

Perhaps you could export just one of these dimensions to a separate file and upload only that. We won’t be able to tell how it got that way, but we can determine why it is small now, and what to do about it.
