Strange Behaviour in Layout - Views keep 'disappearing'

When in layout (and using sections) there appears to be a bug where the items just keep ‘disappearing’ if I double click in one of the layout views the item appears again…
Very odd.

Hi Bill,

Please run SystemInfo in the Rhino command line and post the result.

Thanks!

Thank you for the reply,

Nothing unusual there, is this file specific? If possible please post a small example, you can upload privately here if need be.

Thanks Japhy,
Just sent an example file.

Thanks, not seeing the issue, but do get a missing image warning, so perhaps has something to do with it.

Try putting the images in the same folder, or removing for testing purposes (

ah OK…
yes will experiment with that… although the ‘views’ that I was having issues with didn’t have any jpgs… will report back if I see the same behaviour after following your instructions. Thanks for looking at it

definitely not related to jpgs. can reproduce on all drawings now,.,.

has started to affect work (elements 'mysteriously disappearing from one layout view to the next )

This one has been difficult to repeat but we are seeing it as well. What is your current systemInfo? Thanks

This should be fixed in the 8.11 release candidate that we shipped yesterday

Great news thank you !! downloading now
