Rhino v8 crash when first starting to use

I can start rhino8 but as soon as I try to do anything it crashes. Was able to run SystemInfo, cut and paste below. What would cause this?

Sorry, you’re running a very old, never supported Intel 5500 gpu with less than the minimum required VRAM.
In short, it does not and never will meet Rhino’s System Requirements.
It’s probably fine for what it was designed for; email and Web browsing, but certainly not for OpenGL based “Workstation” graphics.
