Ok, since now it seems that someone does care, here is the small list of my biggest issues with V8. All of them were reported, but none of them fixed. Also, none of them was present in previous versions (or at least not in my V5).

Some commands are not showing in Recent Commands

Hi, I just realize that some commands are not showing in Recent Commands menu. For now I found “_BooleanDifference” and “_DupEdge”, but there will be probably more. Wierd thing is, that they can be still repeated with Enter key, so maybe there is problem only in the menu? Please see attached video.

Customizable Shortcuts in Rhino 8

The issue is that in my current workflow I use over a hundred shortcuts (I like to keep all my shortcuts to my left hand to free my right for the mouse), that’s why it’s critical for me to be able to use any combination of cmd, alt, ctrl, shift that I like. In 7 that was possible, in 8 it’s currently limited to a set of predefined shortcuts. If there is any way to make the shortcut preferences flexible as they were in 7 I would appreciate it so much. This one with gumball origin was reported so many times, that I even can’t find report that I commented:

Gumball keeps loosing its origin

For some time now, weeks/months or so I’ve had this issue where I constantly have to reset the gumball. Sometimes it just decides to appear in a weird location instead of centered on the selected object. Or with some axis inverted etc. I’ve tried checking Autoreset but it doesn’t seem to do anything(?) Checking “Reset Gumball” muötiple times every session however does what I want it to. But I never had to manually reset the gumball like this or touching any settings related to it before. Won…

so the above is a misconception, we do care.

Sorry for negativity @Gijs but please look at it from my perspective: I am a professional product designer who bought a commercial tool for his work. But this tool has many flaws (unlike the version I was working with earlier). I have even spent some time here on the forum reporting bugs, but very few of them have actually been fixed.

I was even thinking about returning the V8, but since I already have too much data in the new format, it’s no longer a possibility… What should I do now?
