Mirrored geometry weird shading

Hi,
Anyone know why mirrored geometry is displayed like this?
Original geometry is closed brep.

Looks fine to me in R7 with default color settings. What view mode are you using?

It works fine in Rhino 7, but when I opened it in Rhino 8, I’m having this shading issue.
I am using Shaded display mode.

What is your _SystemInfo ?

I don’t see the plug-in list. Are you using any third-party plugins?

I have no experience with laptops with 2 GPUs. I would probably just disable the intel one from the hardware management to remove variables, but I don’t know which could be the outcome.

You can try:

  • lowering OpenGL level
  • enabling/disabling GPU Tesselation
  • do a _Reset (but beware this will reset all and every rhino customization you ever made)

Do restart Rhino while trying.
Maybe even Restart you pc… it never hurt.

Thank you guys. I had to change these NVidia settings and it works now.

This post helped me fix the issue: Soooo, you bought a laptop with hybrid graphics and rhino doesn't run right. READ THIS
