There are existing tutorials that were done in Rhino 7 and Rhino 8. The Rhino 7 workflow also works for Rhino 8 and Rhino 8 Mac as well.

  1. The Layout configuration work flow is covered in the Level 1 Training Guide here.
    In Rhino type Tutorials to get the the tutorials panel.
    On this panel, pick Level 1, you can double click on the file to which the training guide is directing you.

  2. Here is a tutorial that has a fee: 2D Technical Drafting with Rhino | Rhino3D.Education
    This web site has other free and fee tutorials as well.

  3. Rhino News, etc.: Video tutorial by Agata Kycia: Learn Technical Drawings using Layouts in Rhino

  4. Tutorials that include layout instruction.
    Most of the time, I introduce the layout task with the lead in, "Now the last thing...".
    The link will bring you to the specific location in the video where layout setup is presented with a variety of model types:

Most of these were also done in Rhino 7 for Mac. If you want better links like I did for Windows above, let me know.
Otherwise, Rhino 8 for Mac versions of these tutorials are here and should work most similar to Rhino 8 for Windows now with the Panel for Layouts.

There are a few new Rhino 8 features,
The big improvements I see are separate model layer visibility from the layouts, better clipping plane management, arrangement of clipping sections.

Some Lynda (LinkedIn) resources should be excluded. Comparability, even within the same platform, depends on who is teaching, the quality of content has vast gaps.

A while ago, some RhinoUsers from various schools informed me of the teachers’ disqualifications. Therefore, official YouTube and Vimeo? videos are preferred for Rhino3D modeling only at least.

There are some really good YT channels that teach Rhino tailored to architecture, for example. However, due to the often-changing nature of YouTube algorithms based on “influencers,” I can’t recall those berried channels.

Due to privacy issues, I am also not practicing login browsers, which results in losing all bookmarks.

So, you will need to hunt for those materials and update the post on a regular basis after rigorous curation.

We do not have any issue with audio here.
And no one else has chimed in that they have audio issues.

Please try copying the link into your web browser. Maybe the discourse play has something to do with your loss of audio. And check your volume on Vimeo.

Thanks for having a look. Not on my office computer any more…Checked with my mobile and audio seams fine.
Strange i tested other vimeo videos that worked well and i checked Safari and Firefox no audio at 1:24:00 …
If nobody else is having trouble … no intervention needed from me side.
