Inserting guides break orthographic views

I think there is a very weird bug in the latest update, where plan views don’t display correctly after inserting guides. I tried to recreate the steps in the simplest way possible:

  • Create a new drawing from template “Visual ARQ 3 - Meters”
  • Draw a standard style floor slab on zero elevation
  • Duplicate the floor slab to a higher elevation and move the copy around so that the two slabs are only partially overlapping
  • The top view should show the two slabs correctly:

  • Draw a new guide anywhere in the drawing
  • The top view now shows a weird flattened version of the drawing:

  • Removing the guide and running “Align floor plan” from the Levels panel restores the view

Hi @studioselva thanks for reporting this issue. We are aware of it, and are working to fix it. When inserting a guide, a weird value may appear in the Viewport Camera values:

You can just edit that wrong number (for example the Z Location), so the display issue disappears.

I’ll let you know when we fix this bug.

Hi @studioselva I let you know that this issue has been fixed in VisualARQ 3.5.1. If you still see wrong values in the Viewport Camera values, just change them manually to a reasonable value. But they should not be corrupted anymore because of guides.
