Image Output is Black when using "View Capture to File" and "File Print"

Hello Everyone, I am experiencing the major problem. When I try to print a jpg format by going to File>Print … and choosing the “Image File” option, I get a black image. I have also the same issue when using “View Capture to File”
Please I need your help. I have a major deadline, and I am unable to save any jpg outputs.

Please see below for the System Info to my rhino:

Hi @lilizio2000
Two things stand out. First is the amount of memory; Your graphics card isn’t even close to meeting Rhino’s recommended minimum of 4GB of memory pr. screen, although you might be able to get it working if - and that’s the second point - you upgrade your graphics card driver. 3½ years is a VERY old driver, especially in the world of 3D graphics. Always make sure that both your Windows installation and your drivers are somewhat current.

Also: Are you running 3 monitors off a 1GB Intel card? If yes, that’s probably a bit excessive for a card that’s 6 years old and, even when new, wasn’t top of its class.

HTH, Jakob

EDIT Here’s an overview of what to look for in a laptop suitable for Rhino. Notice the 3rd point

in addition to points mentioned by Jakob, update your Rhino. We are on SR33 and you on SR7

No, I’m only running one computer with a monitor (so 2 in total)

I’m not going to be buying a laptop, as it’s not feasible for me.
Note that I have been using this laptop for a while now, even for larger file sizes and not had any issues until now.

Gijs, could you share with me how to update my rhino from SR7 to SR33?

I already have Rhino 7, so do i need to repurchase it ?
I’m confused.

Update: I’m currently installing it now. But it says Rhino 7.34

yes, my bad, that’s the right one

Gijs!! Thank you very much. It’s working!!

I wasn’t suggesting you should - merely stating that when running Rhino on less than adequate hardware, it’s important to stay up-to-date on the drivers, as mentioned here:
