Since the last update, I have been encountering a issue where Rhino locks up while reading a file. “Quit” in the task manager will cause Rhino to bring up the save dialog so I can gracefully exit to some degree and restart.
So far I have no simple sequence that reproduces this.
Another mystery issue I have run into frequently is that the HATCH command will start asking me to click within the selected curves. If I restart and do HATCH, it just hatches the selected closed curves.
Still another mystery issue is with the DIM command. I click the annotation style button, select a style from the list, then I get an error that no such style exists. This goes away temporarily after a reboot.

If I run RHino from the command line while in this state, it looks like Rhino starts up but I get an application error saying that RHino is already running. Click OK and it shuts down.
But now I have two Rhino icons in the dock (I never get more than two). The second Icon behaves like one for an application that is not running. (No Force Quit, Hide, Show All Windows)
If I try to start Rhino from the Dock, I get the system error
“You can;'t open the application ‘Rhino 7.app’ because it is not responding”
So it will kinda sorta start from the command line but not from the dock.
Once in this state, I cannot shut down from the menu. I have to do a power off reset.
If I wait really long when trying to do a reboot, I get a mac system message saying the Rhino blocked the reboot. Yet, according to Activity Monitory, Rhino is not running.
I am still seeing this problem with the latest version of Rhino (that’s the past two versions where I have seen the problem). I see a lot of weird behavior that requires a system reboot to clear up.
If there is anything I can do to track this down, let me know.
