I am having some serious issues with Rhino. Sometimes when opening Rhino from when I start my laptop it won’t open or is stuck on loading. Other times it will open a file fine and then if I need to open a file a few hours later it will get stuck loading. This doesn’t seem to be specific to the file or the size of the file (as sometimes it happens with the smallest files with really simple models).
Force quit does not work as it says Rhino has shut down but the windows are still there but frozen and it still appears in the activity monitor. This means I can’t restart the program.
I also cannot shut my computer down so it results in a hard reset.
This was happening fairly sporadically but seems to be getting more frequent to the point where it’s happening everyday. Obviously not very good for my computer to be shut down like this so often either.
Rhino is the only program it happens with.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No effect. I tried starting up in safe mode but rhino gets to the opening window but as soon as I try opening a file it immediately crashes.
