Zoo license return not working

Hi everyone,

we are currently moving from local server Zoo to Cloud Zoo but we encountered an issue. In order to add our new Rhino7 licenses (upgrades from Rhino6 to Rhino7) to the Cloud Zoo I have to procure the Rhino6 licenses that were in the local server Zoo.
To do so, I deleted the licenses from the local server Zoo in order to migrate them in the Cloud Zoo. But the cloud Zoo is still telling me that my licenses are in use in a local server Zoo :

How can I tell the Cloud Zoo that my licenses are not in used anymore in another Zoo?

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.

Hi Brice -
Did you follow step “D” in this guide? https://wiki.mcneel.com/zoo/to-cloud-zoo
You will probably have to contact sales@mcneel.com to get you sorted.

Hi Wim,
thanks for the answer. I actually followed this guide to make things right.
Hoped that was a known issue but I did not find anything on discourse.
I will write to them in order to get things in order.

Thanks again and have a nice day.

One of the older LAN Zoos had a problem and would not “Recover” licenses that seemed to be in use but really weren’t. That was fixed with the current LAN Zoo.

Can you please let me know how to fix this?
We have 6 licenses of Rhino 7 and we are using it into LAN zoo. Now we want to use as a standalone on individual 6 systems. We are able to delete licenses from zoo but whenever we are trying to register on individual systems it says that licenses key you have entered has been added to zoo server.

Hey @skhabale,

You’ll need to email our technical support staff at tech@mcneel.com.
