Wrap Logo around a surface

HI I am looking to wrap this logo/text around this revolved surface and I am not sure which command would be best to achieve this.

Thank you!

flow along surface -

see this video

You can do this with the command _FlowAlongSrf. This works by mapping a rectangular plane (that you will need to create) coincident with the back of the logo to a similar area on the surface and taking the logo with it. The easy way to create the area on the surface is to copy the surface in place and trim the copy down to the part where the logo is to lie.

When I try the flow along surface it works, but it doesnt wrap where I want it

I guess you didn’t do the part where you copy the surface, trim it down to just the area where you want the logo and use that as the target for the flow. (Deleting the surface copy afterwards, leaving the logo on just that part of the original surface where you want it.)

I did copy the surface and trimmed it down the area I want it to wrap around, however it’s still trying to wrap around the entire shape.

Thanks for posting the file, it makes it much easier to help. Here’s how I make it work - are you doing something different?

Thank you for that video that really helps, Would you be able to send the 3dm file that you did?

Sorry, I just used your 3dm file to produce the video and as I didn’t need to add anything (apart from the wrapped logo) I didn’t save it.

If you follow the steps in the video and they don’t give you the same result then there may be a bug in the Mac version of Rhino (I’m on Windows). In that case report back here and tag one of the McNeel staffers and they can check out the Mac version.

Okay thank you, and I was able to do it when I was using the Windows version.

Thanks again
