When editing the macros in the Workspace Editor (and yes, I am still lost the logic of it all in general!), it seems to be impossible to edit multi-line macros from there, or while adding a new Menu item and for the first time entering the “Command”. In both cases pressing Enter to go to the next line closes the dialog window. The only way I found to do multi-line macros is to write them some other place and paste into the Workplace Editor. Is this by design? A small tune-up would be nice. Thanks-
Yep, this whole thing ground to a halt when it was just good enough to be useful for maintaining the toolbar set. It certainly needs some love to be generally useful… but I bet Enter or Shift-Enter can be made to work in the short term, I’ll get this on the pile, thanks. RH-64263 Workspaceeditor: Allow multi-line macros
I have another question about the Workplace Editor - specifically the ability to edit the content of the Menus. Currently it is not possible to either delete or modify the default menus, which is different than many other softwares that allow that level of customization.
It would be great to be able to at least hide some of the items, if not modify them. For example we need slightly changed Import option, that sets redraw OFF, import, redraw ON. For that, I need to create a separate Import item in the menu and it would be easier just to modify the existing one or hide it and have only one. Do you know if there is a reason why Rhino does not allow that?
