I’m a long time (10 years?) Windows Rhino user. Recently had to switch to Mac with Rhino 5. I am finding working with blocks to be extremely slow. Opening, creating, and exploding blocks can take an absurdly long time regardless of the geometry in the block. When I first open the file its okay, but as I work on it blocks take longer and longer to work with to the point where it may take 5+ minutes to do anything to a block.
This is also happening with Purge and applying materials.
If I restart the computer and open Rhino it works smoothly again. I’m guessing its a memory allocation issue. My iMac has 40GB RAM.
Can anyone help?
