I can’t believe I am saying this but, similar to what Ketchup has… (oh how low have we gone).
Please make it not crash the file. Thanks.

This will be trivial to add. However, Ctrl-A + Delete?
Hello,
as I posted in your other topic regarding this subject, this button is not necessarily needed, as it only takes a few clicks.
The idea, again mainly because of performance, is to avoid selecting all materials first.
I disagree, if you have to select all materials then you will run into trouble in Rhino.
I have never had problems with “select all”, neither in small nor large projects
I think maybe there is an issue with bugs not being really resolved that is why there are so many flying around:
It takes about 4 minutes to delete 400 materials.
Meanwhile Sketchup up does it almost instantly. (same file, from Rhino saved as Skp with textures)
I’ve reopened RH-82523 Add a new “Delete all” task to the content editor.
But, as with your other recent post, please provide a 3dm file that behaves the way that you describe. I just created a file with 700+ materials and deleting all takes less than 3 seconds…

Thanks @wim . I have uploaded the file in question that takes 4 minutes to delete materials. Thanks.
Thanks! I can reproduce the issue with that file. It takes about 2:30 on my machine.
