Moi3D has this, as does Plasticity. Will Rhino ever be able to export quad mesh OBJs in the same way so that they can be textured easier in Blender/Maya/etc.?

I like to use, when it is valid, a SubD as the object to export, it will go as good quality quads and if you had symmetry in the SubD, then you’ll get a perfectly symmetrical quad OBJ.
Another way is to run the QuadRemesh command on the NURBS object before exporting.

I also use this sometimes, and on occasion the QuadRemesh of a NURBS form will work (given simplicity). I need quad mesh export for rendering objects and currently have to use Moi (may switch to Plasticity now) but would prefer to be able to do it directly from Rhino. If these two other tiny companies can do it, why can’t Rhino?
