WHY CAN’T I SELECT AN EDGE OR POINT THROUGH AN OBJECT IN RHINO 7? IT WASN’T LIKE THIS WITH RHINO 5
Hi Floyd -
Please don’t shout.
The general rule in Rhino is that if something isn’t visible, you can’t select it. A zbuffer based depth culler was added to Rhino 7 to better support this.
When you switch to the Ghosted
display mode, hidden edges become more visible and you get to pick them. If you prefer a less transparent mode then the default Ghosted
, you could reduce the transparency to 1 to get a display that is visually equally opaque as the Shaded
mode, but that lets you pick occluded edges. You could also change the transparency in the Shaded
mode to 1 to obtain this effect.
