When VRQ generates a floor plan, can it generate grids and dimensions at the same time?
I noticed that there seems to be no dimensioning when generating plane sections, so can this function be integrated?

Hi @Mobai_LIN VisualARQ 2D Plan views show the dimensions in the model space, but they are converted into curves. I can see the grids are not generated though. We will revise this.

In VisualARQ 1 plan views were generated with automatic dimensions, but we removed that feature because the results were not consistent.

So right now, you can add the dimensions on top of the plan views.

Or, (my recommended solution), you can produce the 2D drawings from real-time views of the 3D model instead of laying the 2D drawings in the model space. If you use the Hidden display mode in the page layout details, you can print the model displayed in plan view, or section view, with the grids and dimensions directly to vector output. @Mobai_LIN we have fixed the issue of guides not being generated in 2D plan views in VisualARQ 3.1. There is a RC version available to download here: VisualARQ 3.1 - Release Candidate 1 released
