Hi,
What prompted my post, some V8 issues, and now I am seeing more and more V8 users with issues not existing in V7 or 6 or 5.
such as these posts:-
I have yet to start with V8,
I need to just be able to do the basics, but some of these may be obstacles to use. I hope not to me.
Hi Sam, Walt,
Can you specify what “interact” means in this context?
Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.
-wim
Then it’s not a broken or limited AMD or Nvidia OpenGL driver but a broken OpenGL Rhino 8 precision.
In fact in Rhino 7 I’m able to measure correctly the distance and fix the error that Rhino 8 caused.
I was hoping to get some response here, it was recommended by the reseller.
Any tips on how to get feedback?
hi @eobet thanks,
I split the topic in several posts so that it can be more easily addressed and tracked, not all have YT issues yet.
Sure, I guess I counted the command line as the third size and lament the fact that you can’t control them individually or set a custom font except for that command line.
Here’s Blender’s theme settings for this by comparison, where I’ve changed the entire UI font to Roboto Condensed and am able to tweak the various text sizes their UI use:

Hi all,
When deleting mesh vertices in Rhino 8, that randomly deletes other (unselected) vertices in the mesh for no reason.
I’m working in the same mesh in Rhino 7 because it doesn’t present these bugs.
Commands that I use: _PointsOn (Select Vertices) _Delete
*Also, is there a way to avoid ngons from being created after deleting vertices?

Hi,
Where can I find a good and simple tutorial about how to work with the Rhino 8 UI that explains about containers, toolbars, panels, sidebars, window layouts and how to manage them?
Thanks
Each time I print something I have to remeber to switch to the right Resolution, because this dropdown doesn’t remeber the last used setting and it always reverts to Printer, High Quality. Please fix

Yes, I cpoied the RhinoCommon.dll from the installation folder to Unity project.
Rhino 7 only needs RhinoCommon.dll, but Rhino 8 needs many other dlls.
I assume this is because of the .NET 7 and .NET Framework thing, but “SetDotNetRuntime” doesn’t work.
hatches are not visible in workspace nore in printdisplaymode, only in printpreview. I tried different scales, colours and hatch patterns
does anyone know what I can do?
Picture: on the left is my workspace > the hatch is selected and the boundarys shown (in yellow)> not visible>>> on the right is the printpreview > here it is visible

It keeps resetting to 300 no matter what value I have previously printed with.

Is there some trick I can use to improve performance when opening relatively big AutoCAD drawings in Rhino?
Every action, being it, hide, pan the screen, zoom selection takes a couple of seconds and more to do.
This is terrible!

It just sucked in half my RAM using 0.1% CPU.
I feel SSD caching is not used at all?
Can it be? Will it help?
What can help?
if posters also link to their post here, we can see the picture better.
