6 months dude, 6 months! Give this thread a rest!
Well, none of the above has been made ready yet. So far it’s still current, in a way or another.
That’s what the whole Serengeti group on this forum is for. If you have something to say about RhinoWIP create a thread about it.
So 6 months is too old…?
But two years since last post is OK?
I don’t see what’s wrong with adding a response to an old topic, no matter how old, as long as it is relevant. This one could be a new record (6 years!).
And @mary is making a great point…
if you care to see I’m improving the answer there. Can’t say the same for this terrible thread.
I absolutely saw that, but the irony was too good not to comment, even though I didn’t help the discussion at all
Peace and happy quarantining to you all!
It only took one dev. to save your product from becoming completely obsolete and sink.
If it wasn’t for Grasshopper, Rhino would be irrelevant today.
Think of what could be done if you better focused the work of the 99 other fellows…
You know… features and enhancements users have been begging on their knees for, year after year.
Instead of that, we get gradient hatches… Wow.
As a follow-up, here is what I most expected to see (…fifteen years ago) :
-Proper block management
-Interactive 2D layouts (not that Make 2D misery)
-Robust Booleans
-Clean meshing
-Decent chamfers and fillets
I don’t understand you.
If you don’t like the product - leave it. If you do, show some appreaciation.
I don’t whine that my car doesn’t make 60mph in 5 second. If I wanted one that does it I’d have to spend 5 times more money.
That’s because you didn’t read my post carefully.
Rhino sucks, but Grasshopper makes it bearable, and oddly, even worthwile.
My point is that Rhino could be an absolute killer if some old issues were adressed.
It is so depressing to see the list of so-called “enhancements” in V7 because they completely miss the mark.
Funny you mentionned this : I drive a Tesla Model 3 which does that in 4 seconds, and it cost me far less than most fossil fuel cars capable of that performance.
It’s relevant because Tesla chose to innovate instead of relying on tired old tech.

You got it for free?
Technically : yes.
But I think you got my point.
Technically : yes.
So you are spoiled. Try to earn it. Doen’s come easy.
I earned it all right, I assure you.
Amazing car…
One thing I learned in my life as an entrepreneur:
my own hard work tought me respect for other’s people hard work
Exactly.
If you are a successful entrepreneur, you also might have kicked a few slacker butts
Nope. I’m gentle and I mind my language.
