Weird image files missing

Hi All,
There is something weird happening. We have some strange files appearing and the following message from Rhino:

What we are doing is:

  • We have a couple of materials that uses textures on the disk in the form of PNGs
  • Those textures are worked on in Illustrator and/or Photoshop and then saved over the old files.
  • Users check rhino that should have updated (automatically) the connected material

When executing this workflow it happens randomly (or so it seems) that these files are generated, what the user does is delete them. As the report of the missing files then it is within Rhino we are assuming that it is the creator of the files.

Can you help with this? How can we solve the problem?

Which version of Rhino are you using?

Hi Andy,
I am using 6R34 but is it happening also on older versions. I am unsure if this is happening also on 7R5, our users reported it for 6 at the moment.

OK - we have changed the way the file watchers work in Rhino 7, so this may already be fixed. But if you can give us exactly repeatable steps - either in 6 or 7, I can take a look into it.
