Hi,
V8
I cant even in V8 get a good real light real world view I can send someone of an object such as this SR6 calibration unit.
has anyone got settings I can drop into V8 and get a realworld looking image.
all the time with V5, nothing any good for shadows denoting planar surfaces. one becomes the other whan co planaar
. has V8 anything I can plu and play, or what is the quickes.
maybe settings I can enter.
if the file was done in an earlier version, try this, open your model, put it in rendered view, then reset to defaults in the render tab-
any better?
if so apply a material to it, and try a raytrace mode viewport to see if the model renders ok… if not, you may need to add some lights, etc to get the effect you are looking for-
feel free to upload a model and I’ll gladly try to set up somthing for you-
Rhino 8, using Sub-Surface scatter within a Physically Based material, the Rhino Warehouse environment, and a PBR from ambient CG to give a table.
For the perspective shot…
500 samples in perspective view, 1080p, takes 10 seconds on an RTX 4070 Super GPU.
500 samples in perspective view, 1080p, takes 2:30 seconds on a 13700K CPU at 83% permitted use.
No idea if this is what you wanted, or what your final product is supposed to be. You are more than welcome to have the scene if you need it.
Hi,
Thanks guys.
I started oit creating it in Rhino 5 64 bit, then have opened the .3dm into Rhino8.
Not sure if that complicates the suggestion by Kyle ?
That image by David is exactly what I am after.
That looks like the print we have using Any Cubic blue resin !
I also could do with that in a standard grey resin.
David see PM for the actual file which at 27Mb, needs a means of sending.
Kyle, how do I get the 27Mb file to you ?
I dont want it available to all readers, only the stl file can be, when I ‘launch’ it.
