It looks like it’s giving me what I want on the layout page (Except for showing black as the solid fill pattern when I changed it to Red).
But whenever I try to print it appears there are some major glitches on some of the section lines.
I’ve tried both RhinoPDF and MicrosoftPDF and both have yielded differently incorrect results
Just wondering if anyone has run into similar issues?
@jcmv_design Thanks for reporting this errors. They seem to happen when sectioning the model with jogged sections. We will let you know when this is fixed.
Do you know the timeline for fixing these bugs as I’m currently on a 30 day trial license?
So in order for me to justify buying the full license at a $750 Price-tag, I’d need to be reassured that some of the most basic features advertised will work as intended.
I really appreciate your work on making this plugin and think it is a great addition to rhino, but from what I’ve seen on this forum a lot of people are having similar bugs/issues frequently.
Hi @jcmv_design We are planning to release VisualARQ 2.3 next week, with most of the known bugs fixed. Those that are still pending to be fixed will be ready in a further 2.4 update, which may take some additional weeks to be published.
If you run out of days to test VisualARQ, send me an email to visualarq@asuni.com and I’ll provide you with a key to extend the trial period.
Great to hear an update is on the way.
Just wanted to note a similar issue whereby the section is unable to be rotated on the z-axis, are you aware of this?
Whenever I try to rotate, it automatically snaps back to the horizontal.
I’ve attempted to use clipping planes but then I end up with the same printing issues I was having before.
Ideally we would be able to control the section like the existing clipping plane in Rhino, in order to create more complex drawings.
