Visual Arq Plan View Section Boundary

Hi, may I check if this is normal?

VA Plan View bug.3dm (1.3 MB)

The drawings in the VA plan view does not reflect the print width of the objects itself, regardless of how I try to adjust it (either by layers or through the VA styles itself). Ideally, the print width of boundary lines should be set to be thicker than the print widths of the hatches, which can then be reflected in the plan view.

Attached the rhino file for reference.

Thank you!

Hi @Owi I can see you have assigned the section styles of that object by Layer. The Section Styles dialog doesn’t have an attribute to control the Print width. There is a scale value for the boundary, but this is only for the display.
Instead, you can assign the section attributes to that object from the VisualARQ “section attributes” section, in the Rhino Properties panel:
There you will find a Print Width attribute that works for printing purposes. You will need to update the plan view after the changes on the 3D object:

Great that it works, thanks for the clarification!
