VA join walls and slabs layers Automatcially

Hi ,

Is it possible for VisualArq to join walls and slab/beams layers automatcially same like Revit ?

Hello @user883,

Which kind of “join” would you like to have? Do you mean linking them, so that if you modify walls the slab automatically adjust to the new perimeter?

No. It’s not possible. You will see cross lines.

in this case maybe “vawallextend” top would help

I mean to update the finish component on VA slab object to be trimmed by wall structural element.
same like below thread by @archist97

Hi @user883,

Ok. As @archist97 said this is not possible now, but we have it in our list for future development. For now, you can subtract the parts of the objects you don’t need using the _vaSubtractSolids command.

@user883 @archist97 In VisualARQ 3 slabs and walls calculate their intersection automatically. The intersection lines hide when they have the same section attributes. And their Core/Normal layers determine the intersection order.

@user883 You can calculate the intersections between slabs and beams with the vaAddInterferences command: Add Interferences | VisualARQ help
