VA Curtain Wall Irregular Profiles

Hello,

I have this curtain wall built manually in Rhino and the process took quite some time since it had to be built from scratch. I realize that you can create a regular curtain in VA but is it possible to create irregular shaped curtain walls like in this image here, while retaining its parametric capabilities?

@MetDesignLab Unfortunately it is not possible to create such a curtain wall righ now with VisualARQ. We are planning to be able to extend curtain walls vertically so their components also extend accordingly and you will be be able to create this curtain wall with VisualARQ. Meantime you will need to do it manually with Rhino.

Hi @MetDesignLab , we have just released VisualARQ 2.6 that includes the vaCurtainWallExtend command, to extend curtain walls vertically to other objects: VisualARQ 2 - Version 2.6 released

Funny, I don’t see the option. The latest update installed (2.6.0.13540).

Just type the vaCurtainWallExtend command. The icon in the Curtain wall toolbar will be available in the next version update.
