From now on, create curtain walls from irregular shapes is still impossible, does this function taken into account in VA 2? I think this is very useful, because when use rhino to do design we usually design some freeform shape.
@11181 VisualARQ curtain walls can’t be created from irregular shapes in VisualARQ 2. In order to have this feature we should first allow creating curtain walls from surfaces and also from GH definitions. I can’t tell when these options will be available so far.
Meantime you can just create curtain walls with Rhino geometry (or Grasshopper) and if you are interested in exporting them to IFC, you can tag them as ifcCurtainWalls.
