Unusual web Design

Hello everyone. I have started my way in Grasshopper and I want to do the design identical to the design in the picture. I will be happy, if somebody will help me with it. I think I have to use Shortest walk component or something like that. I will be happy to recieve any other ideas. But I don’t have any idead to recreate the design of the adhesion like veins or spider web or branches. Thank you for attention and time for my post.

Okay. Thank you for reply! But how to make it random? Because I have thought that mesh has specified, strict structure.

I don’t know. If I had to do something similar, I’d first try with a simplified example.

Also do you have a reference for that image? Whose work is it?

For me it looks like few deformed grid structures overlapped on each other.

Diamond (or hexagonal) grid, vertical lines and proximity lines.
