Hello. I am trying to optimize a lattice creation process in Grasshopper. My current process involves creating the isosurface mesh, using box array to create the lattice, using weaverbird’s join meshes and weld to join the patterned unit cell, then quad remeshing the entire structure. However quad remeshing a large array of tets takes a very long time (hours), just to mesh. Afterwards I export the mesh for FEA. I am trying to optimize this process by quad remeshing before patterning with box array, however using weaverbirds join meshes and weld component does not perform like it would with tets. Any advice on how to achieve the result I want? I could not find any other posts relating to this matter, but feel free to direct me to any that I may have missed. File is attached.
