Toolbar Layout Changes Every time I open Rhino 7

Every time I open Rhino, a new file or an existing project file, my toolbars are re arranged from what I set them too.

I use several plug ins like V Ray for Rhino, Vectorize, and Photopia. It is very annoying to have to place them where I want them every single time I open Rhino.

This used to not be a problem??? What is causing this and how do I stop it!!

I just want to set my toolbars once and have them be there each time I open rhino.

Seems simple? Please help…

Did you add another monitor? I’ve seen this more than once where we add a third monitor and suddenly Rhino can’t remember where the toolbars were when it was closed.

I typically work with my laptop, and two other monitors.

Error does seem to only happen when I am connected to the other monitors through a Dell Dock.

So it doesn’t happen when you are just using the laptop?

Just double checked and it happens no matter what. Monitors or no… Always wants to stack the latest plug-in toolbar above the others on its own “row”. Creating 4 rows each time I open Rhino…

I have to manually put them into the same row each time. PAIN!

Switching between Dock with Monitors and no Dock does seem to have more of an effect - The size of everything changes when I do that, not just placement of toolbars.

What I discovered was that once this starts there is no stopping it. Like I said, I’ve seen it more than once when adding a third monitor for an employee. Take the monitor away and it keeps doing it anyway. We have probably somewhere around 200 seats of Rhino installed across all our facilities, and about 5% have this issue.

I wish I had a solution for you, but Rhino 8 seems to be the only answer.
