I use Rhino5 to make drawing sets with 30+ pages with one viewport per page. Is there a way to view more tabs at once? Even with very short names I cant quickly find and open tabs. I need to use the scroll arrow or mouse wheel which is alright but it can still be hard for me to find a specific viewport. It’s especially annoying when I want to flip back and forth between two. If I could make the row of tabs 2 or 3 tabs high that would help a ton.
Even just having the model tab always available would help but I haven’t been able to find a way to do that. Like make a button for it.
Also if I’m missing an easier way to make drawing sets with multiple pages at different scales, please let me know.
Hi Karl - it may help, to get back to the modeling views to use a macro like
_SetActiveViewport Top
I don’t have a way to help with zillions of layouts, but it does seem like having the modeling view tabs condense to one tab if they get too crowded and always be available in the same place might be a good idea.
I should have thought of that earlier. I’ve tried a lot of other more complicating things with no real luck. I made a button with that command. Done - Easy. And it doesn’t lose my scrolled place on the tabs.
Now a real slick thing would be a command to add to that button to flip me back to the previously viewed viewport (not PrevViewport), but since I’m not always losing my place with the tabs it’s not that big of a deal anymore.
