Tile Texture not working properly in Rhino 7

I’m used to using the tile texture feature in things like Revit/Vray, it’s super useful for acocmplishing a lot of things quickly. I have Rhino 7 on Windows. The procedural “Tile Texture” generator under materials does not seem to render properly. Screenshots show a completely new clean file in normal rendered mode where it goes really crazy, both with and without phase shift; as well as a simplified “shaded + texture” view (unchecked “advanced texture preview”), which works the best, but now phase shift does not work (so can’t make things like bricks, etc.) I am on Windows with a RTX 2060. Rhino 7 up to date.

If the answer is just to get Rhino 8 then ok, but just curious if I’m missing something simple.

Try and set the Joint Width to something a little higher than 0.01, eg. 0.015 - that works here. It’s almost as if the underlying generated bitmap is too low-res for the joint lines to render properly if they are that thin? :grimacing:
