Hello peolple,
I don’t know what is going on with the text that dispear. If I look for the text with control+F and I change the size of the letter appears but when I click another thing disapear. Any ideas why is this happening?
Hi Jose -
So far, I’m not able to make that text appear in a model space viewport.
In the file that you attached, there is only one single object in model space - a dimension.
The text that is shown in your screenshot resides on layout “ID”. It is huge and quite a distance away from the layout “sheet”:
I suppose that the text disappearing might have something to do with you running the command from model space and the text being in paper space, but, as I mentioned, I can’t reproduce the behavior.

I think that if a text search result resides on a Layout, Rhino should display it in the Layout context (or possibly show a dialog asking if you want to display the Layout in order to see the search result), not superimpose it temporarily on a viewport.
Thanks! I had turned to the viewport where the dimension was visible.
At any rate, I take it that you tested that in Rhino 6 (which I also did).
In Rhino 7 and Rhino 8, the Properties panel does not switch to the Objects properties but remains at the viewport properties. In those, you can’t modify the text or its style properties, and, as such, the “ghost” text does not appear.
That said, I agree that this command could be more useful than simply returning…
Command: '_FindText
Matched ‘Registro’ in object 337, position 0.
Unfortunately, in 7 & 8, provided you click on Find Next or Select All before closing the search dialog, the Properties panel does switch to the found Object’s Text properties after the dialog closes and an edit there will bring up the ghost text, just as in 6.
