Some lines were deleted in PDF import to Rhino in *(PANCAKE (byillusionwing)) and #Bug in Rhino 7 SR0 2020-4-21 (7.0.2011,)AND Rhino 6 SR26 2020-4-20 (Rhino 6, 6.26.20)

Why ?Some lines were deleted in PDF import to Rhino 7 SR0 2020-4-21 (Public Build, 7.0.20112.12445), and Rhino 6 SR26 2020-4-20 (Rhino 6, 6.26.20111.03551)… and in grasshopper (PANCAKE (by illusionwing))
This seems to be a #bug in Rhino because it does not have a problem in AutoCAD

#suggestion
Is it possible to create a color and layer base of the PDF components
in *(PANCAKE (by illusionwing)) Latest Stable 2.2.1.0
2020-Feb-20

@gankeyu

import pdf.gh (14.3 KB)
gereh_split_1.pdf (973.6 KB)

In the to-be-released version, Pancake’s Import will be able to copy some basic attributes, while the full ObjectAttributes is not copied to prevent temporary memory leak. (the detailed behavior is still to be changed before release)

And sorry I misunderstood you in my email reply. It seems missing lines are due to an issue within Rhino’s PDF importer and I’m afraid nothing can be done from the Pancake side.

thanks for reply
yes This seems { missing lines} be a #bug in Rhino because it does not have a problem in AutoCAD and pdf convertor

Hello - I see those lines are missing - I will ad this to the ‘pile’.

RH-58084 Import/open pdf missing lines

-Pascal

This feature will be added to the next release, which should be available in a few days.

thanks

RH-58084 is fixed in the latest WIP

Pancake 2.3.0.0 is released with attribute import support.

hi I update to the new version but didn’t manage to differentiate this PDF based on color
please help me

import pdf.gh (5.9 KB)
gereh_split_1.pdf (973.6 KB)

My apologies that the attributes aren’t imported by default to save time. Plz right-click the component, enable “Copy Attributes” and press F5 to re-compute. I would put it enabled by default in the next beta.
