Solid Extrusions with the Gumball Tool in Rhino 5

I recently watched an Infinite Skills Tutorial in which the instructor, Rob McCulloch, was able to Extrude a Solid directly from a closed curve (not planar curve) by dragging the arrow on the Gumball Tool and then holding the Control Key.

When I and some Co-workers try it, it only extrudes a surface not a solid.

Hi Marco - the behavior changed during the pre-release or early phases of V5, as I recall - the current Gumball behavior of a surface extruding to a solid and a curve to an open object was probably not locked in when the clip was made.
