I’m looking for a way to adjust the default distance of the number from the dimension. I know that I can manually move the text handle where I want it but occasionally there are many of them and it’d be helpful if they were all spaced closer to the arrows. The settings in the annotation styles didn’t seem to affect it but perhaps I just missed it somewhere? Thanks all!
That distance seems to be proportional to the Font → Text Gap value. I don’t see a way to adjust it independently.

I’ve almost developed a script that will help with this. It will either be a command you do manually (still easier than adjusting the grip) or an event driven one.
i think this must be addressed by mcneel natively. its such a trivial thing…
If I can code it in ‘X’ amount of hours McNeel should be able to do it in at most ‘X’/10 hours.
