Slab offset?

Hello,
Is it possible to have a slab’s layer offset, similiar to a wall’s one? For example, I have a slab with some flooring layers, and I would like to offset the latter to make walls stand directly on the structure layer. And the more, it would be fine to have an option to extend the wall (or its particular layer) to a particular layer of the slab. How about this? Can be done, even with VA 3?

Hi @jerry.bakowski,

Adding offset to slab layers could be done, but it will probably affect the entire slab contour, and I guess this won’t be the desired result in some cases.

In VisualARQ 3 we will add automatic slab ↔ wall intersections, more or less how wall ↔ wall intersections works now. This means that:

  1. Walls (maybe) will automatically extend to near slabs.
  2. Wall core layers will extend to slab core layers (and viceversa).
  3. Intersection lines between layers with the same attributes will be cleared, like we’re doing with walls.

Will this solution work for you?
Do you need anything else?

Regards,

Enric

Enric,
I think these intersections could be fine, can’t wait for them
