Through work I have rhino 8 and 7 licenses but i also have a personal one on rhino 8.
I can’t seem to get my rhino 8 to stick to my personal and rhino 7 to work. Once I log in on either version, the other fires up trying to look for license in that email account. Can I log in separate accounts between 7 and 8?
I found this but doesn’t look like the same issue. I’m not using the same email account across versions. I’d like to use different email accounts across versions.

I’m not seeing any Rhino licenses connect to the two email address that I can find for you.

in the meantime, can you clarify how licensing work. as mentioned in OP, it seems that across rhino versions, they can only check licenses under one account/email, making it impossible to have a rhino 8 open on one account, and rhino 7 open at the same time on a different account.
I got some info from sales team. I wasn’t aware that by purchasing Rhino 8, I’m entitled to a Rhino 7 legacy license too. This alleviates my problem before. It still looks like there’s no way of opening both Rhino 8 and 7 on the same machine simultaneously while having them logged in to separate accounts. But don’t think that’ll be a real problem.
