Selection Filter toolbar oddity and wish

I like having my OSnap and Selection filters arranged like so:

The issue I’m having is that in V8 when Selection Filters is docked by itself like this (like a toolbar as opposed to a panel? not sure of the correct nomenclature), right clicking on a filter to clear all but that filter no longer works. I’ve gotten around it buy containerizing Selection Filters, and having a duplicate of OSnap, but it would be nice if if worked either way.

Work around:

Side note, any possibility of going back to the V7 behavior for the Project and Disable on the OSnap bar and Sub-objects and Disable on the Selection filter bar being a more obvious thing than a check (in V7, the whole check box became shaded)? It makes it a lot easier to quickly determine their state as they stand out from the other options in the toolbar.

Finally, It would be really nice if Project and Disable on the OSnap bar and Disable and Sub-objects on the selection filter bar could be forced to the next line so they stand out even more.

Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam - thanks, I’ll check it.

I think the right click part may be fixed - it works here in our latest, and I recall testing some adjustments to these panels a week or two ago.
As for distinguishing the Project etc. I think I might prefer a bold text or color change, myself, rather than forcing the layout in any way. Would that work for you?

Still not working in my 8.3.23360.13001, 2023-12-26

OK - thanks - I can’t make anything bad happen here in our latest, I’ll revert and see.

Still works here - @Helvetosaur @SamPage are you using 100% scaling on the display (Windows setting) ?

No, 225% on a laptop.
Edit - after a restart of Rhino, it seems to have started working again. Will let you know if it stops again.

Thanks.
