Selectiom Menu anoyance with Rhino7 SubD

While watching YouTube tuts on SubD (SubD noob here) I see folks with control points on and able to Shift/Ctrl click. But whenever I Shift/Ctrl click on a line with control points turned on I get this very annoying message.Even if I Shift/Ctrl click in the middle of the line 100 miles from any control points.

Perhaps try to use the selection filters in the SubD tab

Akash, Yes that works of course, but it seems as though the guy I was watching keeps using the Shift/Ctrl keys to make his selection, which is much more convenient.
But thank you!.

you can hotkey these filters
I for example, have them configured for physical keys on the IntuosPro [Wacom]
