Scaling rhino hatch, AR-Sand hatch dissapears!

For printing I want to have my AR-Sand hatch in a small scale (so the area is densly filled with the hatch). Scale 0.1 or smaller. However I only manage to scale down to 0.5, if I go smaller the hatch (partly) disappears (also in layout and when printing)! See image.

Is there a way to make sure the hatch catches a larger area? Or how to solve this?

There is a limit to how many line segments can be shown in a single hatch object.
What happens when you divide the area into two different hatch objects?
Can you export the hatch object and post that 3dm file here?
