trying to get some drafting done and I downloaded a “batting” hatch for insulation in my floorplan, but although it looks nice in the viewport, in the layout detail view, the scale of the hatch is completely off. The only way to get it to work reliably is to just explode the hatch, but that just creates horrible amounts of geometry and anytime I need to change the outline a bit, I need to delete the old one and re-create the hatch.
Is there a way to set the hatch to print “as seen in the viewport”?
Also, there are other hatches that I want to have a fixed scale regardless of detail view Scale, which makes this a bit more difficult.
Thanks! This solves one problem. Would it be possible to disable hatch scaling per layer, or per hatch object. That would be super useful in many cases.
If a more granular model >< layout scaling option were to be implemented, this would more likely be something that can be set in a “style manager” than an extra layer attribute. We have a style manager feature request on the list as RH-73683 Named Section Style Manager Request
New feature request: RH-77183 HatchScale: Enabled as object property
