Rounding in Layout User Text

I’m doing an Area calculation in my layout user text. In my LUT Properties it shows up rounded according to my document settings. Unfortunately, it’s not rounding when I reference the layout user text in a text block. Not sure if I’m missing something. Image attached shows the layout user text and the text reference in use

Any word on this?

Hi Chris,

See these settings in the Annotation Style assigned to the text.

Thanks Japhy. I’ve tried that and I’m still not rounding properly in my Document User Text.

This might be related to a existing annotation update bug fix that is part of our next release.

What happens if you copy the text?

please run SystemInfo in the Rhino command line and post a file as well. Thanks

Hey Japhy. I was waiting for the update assuming it was going to happen soon. Which text should I copy? The strange thing is that the layout user text rounds properly but when I use the layout user text in a block it doesn’t seem to round properly. See image I’ve attached. The circled blue text is the block that’s referencing “Area” in the Layout User text. Unfortunately the file is proprietary so I can’t share it here.

Hi Chris,

If you update the Annotation Style to the desired rounding and copy or move the text in question does it update?

A small example file would be helpful.

I attempted to export the text into a smaller file but I’m not exactly sure how to export this text alone since it’s in a layout. I’ve updated the annotation style of the desired rounding. The text in the Layout user text is correct but when that layout user text is referenced it isn’t correct.
