Rhinoceros 5 won't connect to Matrix 9 (I also have Matrix Gold)

PLEASE help! I have both Matrix Gold while owning Rhino 7 & 8 AND I also have Matrix 9 with Rhino 5 on my computer. Previously I have been able to run them both simultaneously. After getting a new computer I reinstalled Matrix Gold & Rhino 8 and installed Matrix 9 and Rhino 5- and even though they both used to work great on the previous computer… On the new computer Matrix 9 no longer loads. When I attempt to open Matrix 9 with Rhino 5 a notification pops up saying: “LoadPlugIn cannot be called while plug-in is being loaded.” Once I click ok another notification pops up: “Failed to connect to Rhino” and then Matrix 9 ceases to attempt connecting/loading. Matrix Gold works seamlessly without issue. On the new computer. I’ve attached images of the notifications I am receiving. I am uncertain if I have made an error in reinstalling Matrix 9 or if there is another issue occuring? Please help me! I am happy to reimburse for extended support if needed! Thank you for your time and consideration!


Several things could be going on here.

Secondly, note that Rhino 5 is not supported on Windows 11, although there are many who have been able to use it, but its safe to assume Matrix could also run into issues with the newer OS as well.
