Rhino wip is hanging in retrieving license from license manager , it is not starting , this morning it started ok on my other pc now on the laptop it is not starting , , rhino 8 does start normal, i did download the latest version and installed it, no succes, safe mode could start no problem with that
strangly when i go to my files and right klik open with rhino wip it works ok .. the version that is not working is started from my desktop
Same - except the start up bar message where it hangs varies. And starting from Explorer does not help. And it sometimes will start.

Same here, won’t start from the desktop icon. I can start it by going to Explorer and Open With on an existing design. Also, going to Help → Check for Updates hangs on V8 and WIP. Going to Tools → Options → Updates and Statistics also causes it to hang.

It must be something computer related issue as on my other work pc it just works from the desktop taskbar so what is the problem ? anyone ?
A mix maybe. It has worked upto the last release. There are serveral of us with this problem, so it has something to do with the update, and maybe our PC configurations. I run windows 11, and have an NVIDIA card rtx 4070, and I think, their studio drivers. 64GB of ram.
Seems to be working here this morning … fingers crossed …

After a few days of Rhino v9 starting successfully after the last release, it would again not start today.

If so, any information you can give about the machines that work, and machines that don’t work would be appreciated. For example, _systemInfo of Rhino 8 on the machines that don’t work to see if we can find something they have in common.
